POSITION SUMMARY:
We're excited to offer an opportunity to join our team as a Trade Sales Consultant. If you have a passion for interiors and a flair for design, this role might just be your perfect fit. With a solid background in trade or B2B sales, you thrive on expanding your client base, expertly balancing client needs with design and product solutions.
You'll also need to be fluent in English and either hold a valid NZ working visa holder, permanent resident, or citizen—this is a long-term role for someone looking to grow with us.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Client Relationship Building: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with trade clients, including electricians, designers, and property developers, ensuring repeat business and satisfaction.
Sales and Product Expertise: As a lighting specialist, advising clients on the best lighting solutions for their projects, from individual fittings to entire design solutions, always considering functionality and aesthetics.
Drive Business Growth: Proactively seek and engage new trade clients through weekly calls, daily CRM updates, and strategic prospecting, while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to foster long-term partnerships. Design and Technology Application: Utilize CAD and or Dialux software to create and present lighting designs that meet client specifications and expectations.
Client-Centric Solutions: Listen attentively to client needs, proposing solutions that balance innovation, value, and functionality in line with our mission.
Operational and Administrative Support: Manage sales processes, including quotes, orders, and follow-ups, ensuring efficient and accurate documentation and communication.
Product and Market Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest lighting trends, technologies, and our evolving product range to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and branches, sharing insights and strategies that help us collectively reach our goal of becoming New Zealand's most loved lighting specialist.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure every client interaction reflects our values—passion for lighting, attentive listening, and a solution-driven approach. Make improvements in service delivery, even if it's just one inch at a time.
